The program features inspiring speakers\, special performances\, awards\, and opportunities to connect with community leaders committed to inclusion and equity. \nSafe Schools Desert Cities is proud to be a benefactor of the event and to facilitate attendance for approximately 200 students\, ensuring LGBTQ+ youth and allies have the opportunity to experience this powerful celebration of leadership\, visibility\, and community. \nProceeds from the event benefit Coachella Valley youth\, including Gay‑Straight Alliance (GSA) clubs and LGBTQ+ youth‑focused programs\, helping to advance Harvey Milk’s enduring vision of dignity\, safety\, and opportunity for all. \nTickets\n\nLearn more. \n

DESCRIPTION:Pride Prom is an annual event celebrating LGBTQ+ youth and their allies. It’s a night where students can dress how they want\, dance with whomever they want\, and be themselves—free from fear or judgment—in a safe\, welcoming\, and affirming environment. \n\nFeaturing DJ Alf Alpha\, live performances\, dancing\, food\, and lots of fun\, Pride Prom creates a space where LGBTQ+ youth and their allies can celebrate freely and authentically. \nTickets: $20 per student (Tickets are on sale now)\n(Location details will be shared with registered attendees only.) \nTickets\n  \n\n\n\nFrequently Asked Questions\nHow do I register?\nFor registration information and ticket purchasing details please click/tap the purple “Tickets” button above. Advance registration is strongly encouraged\, as tickets are limited. \nCan I still come if I don’t register in advance?\nYes\, but only if tickets have not sold out. Remaining tickets will be available for purchase at the door. We highly recommend purchasing your ticket(s) in advance to guarantee entry. \nWhat is the dress code for Pride Prom?\nDress to express! Casual\, elegant\, glamorous\, or creative looks are all welcome. Come as your most authentic self. \nCan I bring a friend from outside the desert area?\nYes\, as long as they meet eligibility requirements: \n\nHigh school students (including incoming 9th graders)\, or\nCollege‑age youth up to age 22\n\nA student ID\, driver’s license\, or other valid ID is required. \nI’ve never attended before. He was assassinated by a former colleague who opposed his views and policies. Harvey Milk Day is a day to remember his contributions and achievements\, as well as his message of hope and love.
