Leadership & Empowerment Camp ’26

The 2026 Safe Schools Leadership & Empowerment Camp will take place Thursday, June 11 through Sunday, June 14, 2026, at a camp in the San Bernardino Mountains, within hiking distance of Jenks Lake.
This free, four‑day overnight camp is designed for high school students to build leadership skills, confidence, resilience, and community in a supportive and inclusive environment.
Participants will enjoy a fun‑filled long weekend with a variety of activities, which may include hiking, archery, daily campfires, swimming, canoeing, a talent show, and more as facilities and scheduling permit.

Camp Details
- Cost: Free
- Eligibility: Students entering 9th through 12th grade
- Location: San Bernardino Mountains (near Jenks Lake)
- Transportation: Safe Schools Desert Cities (SSDC) will provide bus transportation with designated pick‑up locations throughout the Coachella Valley
