Harvey Milk Diversity Breakfast ’26
The Palm Springs Harvey Milk Diversity Breakfast is an annual event honoring the life and legacy of Harvey Milk, one of the first openly gay elected officials in the United States and a tireless advocate for equality, justice, and hope.
Produced by the Harvey Milk Foundation in partnership with Greater Palm Springs Pride, the breakfast brings together civic, interfaith, education, diversity, and social justice leaders from across the region. The program features inspiring speakers, special performances, awards, and opportunities to connect with community leaders committed to inclusion and equity.
Safe Schools Desert Cities is proud to be a benefactor of the event and to facilitate attendance for approximately 200 students, ensuring LGBTQ+ youth and allies have the opportunity to experience this powerful celebration of leadership, visibility, and community.
Proceeds from the event benefit Coachella Valley youth, including Gay‑Straight Alliance (GSA) clubs and LGBTQ+ youth‑focused programs, helping to advance Harvey Milk’s enduring vision of dignity, safety, and opportunity for all.
